Getting started
Introduction
The toolset is a collection of OBS browser-source overlays and companion apps for Twitch streamers. Each tool lives at its own URL, stores settings in your toolset account, and connects directly to Twitch — no per-tool subscription.
First time setting up an OBS overlay? Read How to add a browser source in OBS first — same five-minute setup works for every tool in here.
How it fits together
You sign in with Twitch once. From the home page, you create a hosted source for any tool you want to use — that gives you a private browser-source URL with an opaque wid token. Drop the URL into OBS as a Browser Source, configure the tool here, and the overlay reflects your settings live.
Most overlays connect to your channel chat directly via Twitch IRC, so they work the moment OBS opens the page — no extra OAuth scopes beyond the toolset login itself.
Quick start
- Visit the Connections page and link Twitch (and Spotify, if you plan to use the Music tool).
- Pick a tool from the sidebar on the left and follow its setup steps.
- Drop the generated browser source URL into OBS at the size the tool recommends.
- Tweak settings on the tool page — the overlay updates live without restarting OBS.

Browser source URLs are private
Every hosted source URL contains an opaque wid token, never your user ID or auth token. If a URL leaks you can replace it from the tool's source picker — the old URL stops working immediately, and OBS just needs the new one pasted in.
